Follow These Basketball Drills And Sink Baskets Like You Cant Miss
From the desk of: Tom Edwards Dear Friend, Since you’ve found this website I suppose it’s ok to let you know… "I’m a basketball addict". The truth is, I’m always on the internet looking for basketball drills and training ideas. That’s what led me to put this website up. Let me explain… While surfing around the internet, I stumbled upon something so fantastic that it immediately got my attention… In fact, I discovered something sooo amazing that at first I thought it was "too good to be true" like most things are. You see, a few months ago, I was actually doing some research on Mr. Glen C. Brown, one of the most respected and influential basketball coaches of the last century. I noticed that most of his work was available and accounted for with the exception of one of his most important pieces of work, ‘Secrets Of The Zone Press’. Well, this got me curious and so I started digging a little deeper. I started sending off a few emails asking questions, unfortunately, every road I seemed to head down was a dead end… until a couple of weeks ago that is…
At this point, you might be wondering how you can get your hands on a copy… Well here’s the good news. After doing even more research, (I told you I was a basketball fanatic) I have contacted the original copyright owners and gained permission to republish Mr. Glen C. Brown’s complete work on this website. Get started now... Tom Edwards
Basketball and Jesus
Our church has an organized basketball program managed and coached by Doug White (not to be confused by our pastor who also has the same name). Recently, I asked Doug why he was so passionate about the sport of basketball, and what does basketball have to do with Christianity. I thought his philosophy may be helpful to others who desire to build a church sports program. 15 Helpful Point Guard Tips Do you really want to be the best ball handler on hardwood? Then try practicing fifteen of the easiest though most beneficial ball handling drills practiced by both NBA and WNBA superstars. You'll discover that these drills are not easily mastered. However, regularly practicing these different drills will eventually transform you into a great ball handler. What Do Basketball Recruiters Look For? I love this question. This question gets asked a lot and it has many answers. When players ask me this question I always ask who they want to be recruited by and that determines the answer. Youth Basketball Drills - Fundamentals of Offense-Mid-Range Shooting In this modern age of basketball, slam dunks have the dramatic emphasis and twisting layups are the celebrated features in highlight reels. Not everyone can dunk or lay the ball like the flexible grease man, but everyone can pull-up a jumper from mid-range. Duke Basketball Gets Two Star Commitments During the summer of 2008, Coach Mike Kryzyzewski had a big decision to make: Should he hit the recruiting trail and try to land some of the big recruits he needs to bring Duke basketball back into national prominence, or coach the Olympic team and try and win a gold medal? After a summer with many other ACC teams landing prize recruits, Duke fans were happy to see Coach K get the gold but fretted a bit over the sense that some recruits were drifting away in the coach's absence. |
